Dany & Isi Metzstein – Video & Comic

Pupils at St Andrew’s and St Bride’s High School, East Kilbride have produced two films and a comic.

The first film is about the architect Isi Metzstein’s journey to Scotland on the Kindertransport in 1939. The second film explains the learning journey that the pupils undertook.

The pupils then worked collaboratively with Magic Torch Comics to produce a comic about the lives of both Isi and his wife, Dany Metzstein. Dany also came to Scotland and was a refugee from the Holocaust.
