Where our Stories Met
In 2025, St Andrew’s and St Bride’s High School pupils in East Kilbride worked collaboratively with Magic Torch Comics to produce a graphic novel about the lives of Isi and Dany Metzstein.
They used pre-existing testimonies recorded with Isi and Dany by Gathering the Voices as the basis for the text to accompany illustrations in their publication.

In 2024, pupils at St Andrew’s and St Bride’s High School in East Kilbride produced two films. The first film is about the architect, Isi Metzstein’s journey to Scotland on the Kindertransport in 1939.
The second film explains the learning journey that the pupils undertook. Pupils incorporated some of the testimonies Isi and his wife Dany had previously recorded for Gathering the Voices into their film.
